All About Brows

Here in Victoria Permanent Makeup, we offer all about brows microblading services.

Let me give you a bit idea of how the Microblading technique works.

This kind of cosmetic tattooing is not an ordinary hobby that artists do. It takes a lot of experience and study to finally learn the art of giving each client their most desired brows.

Many of our clients ask, how long does it last? Is it painful? Do I need to come back again for another session? What shape, color is appropriate to my brows? etc…

Here, I will tell you everything.

Semi-Permanent Makeup Brows can be defined as a temporary tattoo.

It lasts about 6 to 18 months depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and the number of touch up.

Is it painful? Well, it all depends on your pain threshold, out of 10 (10 is the most painful) I would say its scale to 5 up to 7. This can be based also on your tattoo artist or the person who’s doing the procedure. You can determine the newbie and the expert 🙂

After the initial session, clients asked if they need to come back for another one. definitely yes, within 6 to 8 weeks I advise you to get a schedule for a touch-up session, especially if you had done Microblading (check out the Microblading page to know more about this).

The most frequent question I hear is what’s the color & shape?

I normally use light to dark brown. Perfect for Filipina skin tone.

Tips for determining the right eyebrow shape for you are to focus on the brow bone structure and the shape of the face.

I always do the brow threading to make sure I’m on the right track.  My goal is to draw using a brow pencil from the base then to the arch and the tail.

Sounds pretty easy right? But the procedure will take 2 hours.

If you’re into this, make sure to check out other kinds of brow techniques and choose the best one for you.
